What Is Spectra Audit

This page answers what Spectra Audit is, who it is for and what you actually receive when an audit finishes.

The Short Version

Spectra Audit runs AI security analysis plus community review on blockchain projects and returns one Security Score from 0 to 100, with the evidence behind it, in minutes, not weeks.

The score weighs code and community sentiment, plus on-chain data for projects with a token. Which inputs apply depends on the project and on what data is available, so no two audits necessarily cover the same set.

Who It Is For

You areWhat you get
A web3 creator or DeFi protocol listing a projectA published Security Score, a findings list with recommendations, and a report you can re-run as your code changes
Someone researching a project before committing capitalA readable breakdown of where the risk sits, not just a pass or fail flag
A community memberA public report you can read, with the reasoning shown

Reading audits is public. You connect a wallet when you want to list a project, edit one, or take part in the parts of the platform that need an identity.

How This Differs From a Code-Only Audit

A contract can pass a code review and still hurt holders through concentrated token distribution, thin liquidity or a quiet mint function. Spectra is not limited to code:

  • Code is analysed by AI against the project's verified source.
  • Sentiment comes from community signal on the project.
  • On-chain data such as distribution, tokenomics and liquidity is measured for projects that have a token.

We describe our work as AI security analysis with community review. Spectra does not employ human or professional security auditors, and the product is never presented as a human audit.

What You Receive

  • A Security Score from 0 to 100. See Audit Score Reference for exactly how it is built.
  • A findings list, where each finding carries a severity, a description and a recommendation. See Finding Severities.
  • A per-dimension breakdown, so you can see which part of the picture moved the score, including the cases where a dimension could not be measured and is shown as unavailable rather than scored.

What It Is Not

Spectra does not certify projects, does not sell an audit stamp and does not tell you whether to invest. A finding we did not surface is not proof that no such finding exists.

A high score does not guarantee safety. Results come from AI security analysis with community review, and the product is in beta. Always do your own research.
