About the audit
Does a Spectra audit replace a manual security audit?
No. Spectra runs AI security analysis over your contracts and on-chain data, with community review on top. It is fast, repeatable coverage. It is not a substitute for a manual engagement with a human audit firm before you hold significant value. See What is Spectra.
Does a high score mean the project is safe?
No. The score summarises what was measured, and no automated analysis finds every class of bug. Treat it as one input to your own research, never as a guarantee.
My project has no token. Can it still be audited?
Yes. Projects without a token are scored on a separate weight table where code carries 55 and the token-dependent dimensions are not applicable. See the Audit Score Reference.
Why is a dimension missing from my report?
Because there was no usable data for it. A missing dimension is skipped and the remaining weights are renormalized — it is never counted as a zero, and it never penalises you. The Audit Score Reference lists the common reason for each dimension.
Why is there no code score even though my contracts were submitted?
Because the code analysis did not positively complete. States such as an unverified source or partial coverage force the code dimension to be treated as absent rather than defaulting it to a passing number. Reading Your Report explains each state in plain language.
The technical subscore does not match the headline score. Is that a bug?
No. They are two different numbers from two different calculations, and the technical subscore is not an input to the headline Security Score. The comparison table is in the Audit Score Reference.
Can I re-run an audit after fixing something?
Yes. Re-analysing a project is the intended flow after you ship a fix. The score is recomputed from the new findings and on-chain data.
Payments
What does an audit cost?
Listing a project is $3.00 plus $5.00 per contract. Editing is $2.00 plus $5.00 per newly added contract. Full schedule and worked examples in Pricing and Payments.
Which tokens can I pay with?
USDC and USDT, both 6-decimal stablecoins, deposited into the SpectraPaymentsV3 contract. The minimum deposit is $1.00.
Can I withdraw my balance?
No. A deposit becomes spendable credit on Spectra and cannot be withdrawn. Deposit what you intend to spend.
Can I stack a promo code with referral credit?
No. They cannot be combined on the same purchase. Referral credit is applied when there is no promo code, and skipped when there is one. Referral credit applies to Pro only; promo codes apply to listings, edits and Pro, but not to featured bids.
Why did my total change when I added a contract?
Because the fee has a per-contract component of $5.00. The contracts step in the wizard is what moves the total.
I paid but nothing was granted. What happened?
A payment only grants something when it matches the quote the server computed for your account — project, contract count and amount all have to line up. A mismatched or zero-amount payment grants nothing. The app shows the outcome rather than assuming success; the backend balance is the authoritative figure.
A high score does not guarantee safety. Results come from AI security analysis with community review, and the product is in beta. Always do your own research.
